Bari Liebowitz, DC, Naturopath, has been practicing since 2000. She is a licensed doctor of chiropractic and certified naturopath. Dr. Liebowitz attended East Stroudsburg University where she graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Education. She then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic West where she was a member of the Dean's List and the recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award. She graduated from the International College of Naturopathy in 2002 with a certification in naturopathic medicine. Dr. Liebowitz is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Human Nutrition through the University of Bridgeport.
Because of the obesity epidemic in our country, Dr. Liebowitz felt compelled to create a program unlike any other to reach a diverse population of the overweight community. She has seven years of post-graduate and functional medicine experience in which she uses blood, saliva, stool and urine tests to assess how well the organs, glands and systems are functioning. She enjoys teaching people about how to make the needed changes in their lifestyle, and has helped many clients achieve their goals.
Dr. Liebowitz gives regular community education seminars about topics pertaining to prevention and wellness. Her mission in life is to help overweight people become fit and healthy, and educate as many people as possible about attaining and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Liebowitz resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her two Golden Retriever therapy dogs, Ernie and Duncan. She enjoys running, cycling, going to the gym, interior design, cooking, reading, going to the beach with her dogs, and relaxing with friends.
